180 ft of fence. Using a 7/8 thick kiln dried cedar and finished out with penofin. It’s base is a brazilian rosewood oil. A retaining wall was built to level up the inside of the yard. Used 11 gauge thick raw steel that was set into the wall. Fence is 6 ft tall.
Recycled plywood top made to 2 5/8 inch thick. The legs are galvanized pipe fittings. Finished out with polyurethane .
This is a new product I’m working on. The tabletop is made from about 80 percent recycled plywood. It’s stood up on edge and put together like a butcher block. Finished out with polyurethane. The drawers and boxes are made of baltic birch.
So the old one was small and needed some heavier details. It was a five piece trim system that I milled in my shop and installed. Paint and gold leaf was applied.
I built this about 2 years ago. It originally had a brick surround. I left the old one there and built around it. Made of red oak.
So in July, I had the opportunity to work Joel Dyer, a faux painter out of New Orleans. So the pictures show the progression of the project. Eventually, it will have upholstry around the bed. I built a torsion box to support the mattress. All the fold have layers of different thick plywood. Everything you see is made out of wood
Finished with waterlox.
So this is a converted linen closet. I cut out four shelves, installed a pull out counter riding on full extension drawer slides, mirror, and lights. I also built a bench seat. What’s nice is you can close everything up.
These were built about 6 months ago. Spanish cedar. Operable also. Eventually, they were going to be painted to look old.
